Women’s Ministry is rounding out 2025 strong. Our personal ministry to the ladies is ongoing, and we are continuing to see positive results from this. Our Sewing Seeds sewing circle has completed its first project of sewing fifty baby blankets for new and expectant mothers at Barbie’s Village, and they are now collecting fleece blankets to give to homeless persons for keeping warm during the cold weather months. Check back for updates on these events. Below is a schedule of confirmed events through the winter.
- Fall Prayer Brunch: Our fall prayer brunch is happening November 9, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in the Stone Tower Fellowship Hall. We’ll focus on discussion and prayer time on divine appointments. Please email womensministry@stonetowersda.org to RSVP.
- Thanksgiving Food Drive: Now through November 22nd, we are collecting these items for putting together food baskets for needy families this Thanksgiving. If you wish to donate to this effort, please bring any of the items on the list to Stone Tower and place them in the designated bins located in the church foyer.
- Women’s Nutrition Classes – Coming in January 2026! We recognize that health takes on a unique form for women, and we want to provide education and encouragement for improving and maintaining good health and wellbeing for every woman, no matter what age or stage of life she is in.
These events and activities are being created and promoted to encourage our ladies in their personal walk with Jesus Christ, and to engage in cultivating relationships with their sisters in the Lord! This year’s goal to take the mission further is being accomplished through:
1) DISCIPLESHIP of our newest female members; and
2) utilizing resources to EQUIP all of our ladies to serve effectively in a variety of contexts.
It has been a privilege serving the women of Stone Tower and our prayer is that the relationships started this year will continue to grow and flourish by God’s grace and through our concerted effort in the year to come. Maranatha!
