Women’s Ministry

Your local Women’s Ministry team has had a busy 2023! Our main goal this year is engagement. Here’s how we’ve been working to achieve this goal:
  • In June, a couple of our women attended the Southern Oregon Conference women’s retreat at Milo Academy. Several more of us also attended the Oregon Conference Women’s Retreat in October at Big Lake Youth Campground. The connections made at those events are still going strong!
  • Here at home, we’ve hosted spring and fall prayer brunch gatherings where we enjoyed deliciously prepared meals; discussed our personal walks with the Lord through the sanctuary message, and what being a woman of faith in the 21st century means practically.
  • Currently, we’ve just started a Secret Sister activity to further connect with one another, and we hosted a fun, slightly messy, cookie decorating social just last evening here at the church, through which we are teaching our young ones the blessing of giving with intention.
These events and activities were promoted and created to encourage our ladies in their personal walk with Jesus Christ, and to engage in cultivating relationships with their sisters in the Lord! In 2024, our goal is to take the mission further through:
1) DISCIPLESHIP of our newest female members;
2) MENTORSHIP of our girls, teens, and young women; and
3) utilizing resources to EQUIP all of our ladies to serve effectively in a variety of contexts.

It has been a privilege serving the women of Stone Tower and our prayer is that the relationships started this year will continue to grow and flourish by God’s grace and through our concerted effort in the year to come. Maranatha!
