Update: Wed. Feb. 19  –  We are sorry to report that Dr. Conrad Vine will not be present this weekend. However, two of his associates will be stepping in to cover the speaking schedule. We hope we will be able to reschedule him for another date.

Matthew Gorton
Matthew served in Laos as a student missionary for 2 years and then in recruitment at the AFM-EU office. He is now planning to return as a Career Missionary, i.e. long-term. Unmarried. He will be speaking on ministry and mission in SE Asia.

Jony Hajaj, DIS
Intercultural Studies and Discipleship Director
Dr. Jony Hajaj, who holds a doctorate in intercultural studies, comes from the heart of the Middle East. Born in Jordan with an Arab ethnicity, a Christian-tribal background, and an Islamic cultural upbringing, Dr. Hajaj is the child of an inter-religious world. Arabic is his mother tongue. He, together with his wife and three children, have served the Lord for many years pastoring, planting churches, recording TV and radio programs, conducting training, and teaching around the world. His passion is to lead people to Jesus Christ and disciple them into the kingdom. He serves as the Intercultural Studies and Discipleship Director at Adventist Frontier Missions (AFM).

Speaking Schedule – Emphasis Missions and Discipleship

  • 10:00am – Sabbath School: Matthew Gorton
  • 11:00am – Sabbath Sermon:  “Discipleship: Drawn In to Send Out”  Jony Hajaj
  • 1:30pm – Lunch: Plan to bring food and stay for a potluck meal after church
  • Approx 2:30pm – Sabbath afternoon: Matthew Gorton and Jony Hajaj

We are expecting a good turnout and parking may fill up. Check the map below for our closest parking. Please do not park in Les Schwab Parking area, there is street parking available in the surrounding area if our main lots fill.
